Life, Death and Everything In Between

You know you are going to die, right? So, did you ever wonder what your last thought will be when it happens?

For many people when the moment comes they often realise that everything they experienced in their life was meant to happen the way it did. And they understand why. I sometimes long to have this clarity about why we are here. But like someone once said 'life can be understood looking backwards but can only be lived going forwards'. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in death. Or more so what it can teach us about life. And given it is the one and only certainty we all share then what comes afterwards. Over the years I have read widely on death and what comes next and have participated in past life regressions to find out more. But I want to take this exploration further.

One of the forms this exploration will take is through my new podcast called Life, Death and Everything In-Between. And yes while I have always been fascinated by death, the podcast is mostly about life. In each episode I will talk with people who have something that I feel others would benefit from hearing. There is so much noise out there and so often with the aim of selling you something. I have nothing to sell you. The intention is to inspire, motivate and shake you up. To reassure your flagging spirit if that is what you need.

I especially want to inspire young people and anyone raising them with content that can steer their life and conversations to greater levels of understanding, meaning and purpose.

My first guest is a FORCE OF NATURE.

A wonderful multiverse of courage, bravery, wisdom, playfulness, wildness and sensitivity. Her name is Mary Hulgraine. I first met her when I hobbled into her gym in a weak post operative condition from a collapsed lung. We became fast friends and ever since she has inspired me when my own enthusiasm for life has flagged.

Mary is an athlete, a globally followed voice on recovery and a shining light that inspires others. In this episode we talk about her journey as a young girl following her seemingly impossible dream, to her battle with addiction to finally finding peace in her self-acceptance. She also shares how her spiritual faith is shaping who she is now and who she continues to dream to be.

If there is a young teenage girl in your life I think this episode in particular will speak to them. But really courage is gender, background, and age neutral so share this with anyone you feel needs to believe in themselves and life.
